Formed as a nonprofit corporation in 1998, Cottonwood’s Foundation for Excellent Schools (CFES) supplements the local educational process with critical funding and strong community support.

One of the first needs that the Foundation addressed was improvement of the number and quality of computer terminals available to students. In addition to reading, writing, and mathematics, CFES considers computer literacy to be mandatory for today’s students to be able to compete in modern society. To that end, the Foundation has worked diligently to increase financial support for technology, and Cottonwood students are reaping the benefit.

Over the last couple of years, CFES has donated over $100,000 to Cottonwood. The donations have helped purchase a variety of necessities for the schools, including the following:
